FRIXSHUN! An original powerhouse combination of the best of old and new hard rock!
-----FRIXSHUN is a hard rockin' 4-piece that was formed in Twin Rocks, Oregon in 2004.
In 2005, the band recorded their 1st release, "The Coast Is Clear" at System Seven Studios, which featured former members Gino Barker on rhythm guitar and Nolan Strawn on drums.
In the summer of 2006, Stevie Hooker replaced Gino on rhythm guitar.
The band continued to play shows at parties and clubs along the Oregon coast and in the Portland area, gaining a strong, loyal following.
In June of 2007, Dave Hathaway replaced drummer Nolan Strawn.
In 2008 Steve Hooker left the band.
Their sound has matured and found a new edge, and the band continues to rehearse, write new material and gig all over Oregon. Frixshun will continue to rock the house wherever they go with their unique blend of melody and hard rock.
