About me: The next "Frock Me!" vintage fashion fair is on

(2008)Well the Frock Me! team is back from a vintage fashion shoot on the Greek Island of Symi. We had a lot of fun shooting outfits of different eras from sunrise to sunset.
When you visit Frock Me! at the Chelsea Town Hall don't forget to visit our fabulous Vintage Tea Room. With the staff dressed in vintage clothing and wonderful tea and cakes served on beautiful antique china, the whole thing is rather reminiscent of a Lyons Corner House. More cakes and scones with lashings and lashings of cream all round I say!!
All the top vintage fashion dealers come from across the whole of the UK as well as one who comes from Bordeaux and one who comes from Paris to sell at Frock Me! Items offered for sale range from Victorian underwear to 1950s corsets; Edwardian smoking jackets to feather fans. There is always a full range of accessories available from veiled hats to parasols, gloves, shoes and vintage costume jewellery.
Prices are all very affordable (starting at just a pound or two) with customers ranging from fashion-savvy kids wanting items to wear every day to burlesque performers looking for something rare and exotic! Other regular visitors to the fair are the constant flow of fashion designers, models, actors and actresses and entertainers.

Our June 10 event was a great success with Kylie popping in to do a little shopping for vintage. She bought a fabulous swimsuit!
Our fair on 15th April was also a great day. Lovely spring sunshine outside inspiring many people to come inside to find a bargain summer frock. Thanks to all of you who let us snap your picture. However, never fear, bringing the light to the event will be Angel LaVey of the Silk Stocking Striptease Show. Whether you want something, light and comical or dark and deviant, the 9th Silk Stocking Striptease Show will have something for you. Pick your poison, light or dark, we have it all and we guarantee to satisfy your cravings.
The Silk Stocking Striptease Show Nine will be taking place on the 8th of August 2009 at The Flapper Pub. Tickets will cost you £7.50 in advance from www.birminghamburlesque.com and will be on sale until midday on the 8th of August. You will be able to buy tickets on the door at £9 each, subject to availability. The doors to the show open at 7:30pm and the show will begin at 8:30pm.
