I grew up going to concerts, shows and clubs. That's pretty much all I did in High School. But I still love to go to concerts. The only thing I can't stand is that the people that go to the shows now keep getting younger and younger. At least it seems that way. The other things that I love to do are go to plays. My ex got me hooked on it. I'm also an outdoorsy kinda guy; after all I grew up in the Northwest. I love the mountains and I love the desert, and I love snowboarding.
Music
I like lots of Indie and some Emo rock, but I refuse to be called an emo-snob. Few of the bands I like: The Get Up Kids(R.I.P.), Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Mars Volta, The Used, Saves the Day,The Dandy Warhols, Brian Jonestown Massacre(rent the documentary "Dig" and you'll see why), The New Amsterdams, Alkaline Trio, Sparta, Brand New, Hot Rod Circuit, Thursday, Hey Mercedes, Further Seems Forever, Built to Spill, Coheed and Cambria, Silversun Pickups, Richard Swift, Damien Jurado, and I'm digging this "Self" album Patrick gave me called "Gizmodgery," Toy instruments Rock!
Movies
AI love movies to much. "Moulin Rouge" is my favorite, I know that's kinda weird. Other movies are, Almost Famous, Lord Of the Rings trilogy, 40yr. Old Virgin, Swingers, Garden State, and I'm a huge Wes Anderson Fan (Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums, and The Life Aquatic)
Television
I try not to watch much t.v. I just don't have the time to, but I'm hooked on "Prison Break" and "Lost." The Best show on T.V. is "The Office." (R.I.P. "Arrested Development".) "Family Guy" also rocks.
Books
I try to feel smart and sophisticated by reading the classics, but a third of the books I read about halfway through before I forget to finish them. And I think Dan Brown is a horrible Author.
Heroes
Most of my heros' are not famous people except to some. But they would have to be Andy Dickson, Patrick Tetreault, my sis Beck, Ron Mehl and Chuck Updike (R.I.P. I wish I would have spend so mutch more time with you two.)

I live in my birth city of Portland Or. once again after a seven year stint in Los Angeles. I find my self utterly in love with my hometown, but I desperately miss L.A. like an estranged lover. But I get to work with two of my best friends at a great little Indie label in Vancouver Washington, right across the river from P-Town.

i made my first ever pro/con list in ten years...california vs. oregon. and oregon won. especially when, when i have free time, i almost always LEAVE. that should probably tell me something right there. i do love monterey/big sur. and highway 1. and last week, i was in la and orange county. i love that everything is so close. except portland. which happens to be MY favorite place ever too. like...ever, ever. great idea. you must be full of brilliant ideas.
