   About Frog Hollow Day Camp
A band of anonymous forest-dwellers and amphibian enthusiasts whose origins are shrouded in mystery, but who have since traded their jugs and logging saws for real instruments, Frog Hollow Day Camp is a jam-oriented ensemble that blends rock energy with a funky, floor-shaking bottom, and myriad musical styles, and a sense of humor just sufficient to not let them take themselves to seriously, or let well-deserved pretentiousness run wildly amok. (What? Did you really write that?) Expect pulsating grooves from ONLY ONE LONE bassist, driving rhythms and drum/percussion interplay, and the melodic flavors of synthesizers and guitars in tandem. In short, what you want to hear more than anything, right now, without even realizing it. Ethereal, explorative, explosive: three words to describe Frog Hollow's musical philosophy.

i just spent like an hour and a half or so, driving up and down Fishback Rd in the dust and the blinding setting sun, listening to KBOO's underground hiphop show, and looking for any sort of sign or "mailbox on the left" which could possibly direct me to your show. needless to say, i failed in this quest. what i did find, after following a series of ambiguously worded "PARTY!" signs was a children's birthday party. I knew i was in the wrong place when every car in the driveway was less than 2 years old, and there was an enormous crowd of people in the front lawn clapping and laughing at a child in a balloon hat juggling. I do not even have the words to describe my dissapoint. They wouldn't even fucking give me any cake.
