From One Mother to Another's Blurbs |
About me:
We are a small grass roots oganization started by myself Elizabeth Caraballo and my sister Naomi Caraballo-Green.
This was created because we have been given so much in the last few years. I lost my daughter's father when I was five months pregnant. I didn't know how I was going to do this. Friends, strangers, and co-workers rallied to my rescue and still do.
Everytime someone gives me something, everytime a solution manifests, I wish for all mothers to have the same opportunity. I have met some amazing mothers, some with great abundance and some with out two nickles to rub together,there is a universal element of compassion and empathy for each other. Its power leads to amazing acts of generosity, moments of acknowledgement, and courage.
This is just making a formal space for the giving and recieving that goes on everyday everywhere. There is no financial qualification. We here to fill the gap and provide a little breathing room.

Who I'd like to meet:
We would like to meet mothers who need help and mothers who would like to help.
We are currently looking for individuals or organizations that interested in donating, sponsoring, or fundraising.
~We will have a table at Baby Club Congress May 4th 2008~ Come out and meet me, Naomi,our kids and enjoy "clubbin" with your kids!
