About From Age To Age

From Age to Age is a new professional choral ensemble comprised of singers of all ages from across the state of Minnesota. The ensemble is committed to presenting quality choral music to communities and to populations traditionally underserved by the arts. In its upcoming 2008/2009 season, From Age to Age will give concerts in small towns and rural areas in every corner of the state of Minnesota; it will also bring choral programming to many facilities that house the aged and infirm. However, the mission of From Age to Age reaches well beyond the state of Minnesota. The ensemble contributes a significant portion of its proceeds to two carefully chosen humanitarian organizations that promote lasting and sustainable global change: The One Acre Fund helps starving Kenyan families lift themselves out of poverty by teaching sustainable agricultural practices; and The Central Asia Institute (Three Cups of Tea) builds schools in rural areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan, promoting peace through education. From Age to Age relies on performance revenues and the generosity of individuals to support its work. From Age to Age is a Minnesota nonprofit corporation with 501(c)3 status in process.
