In the fall of 2005 songwriter Larry Forsberg joined The Fabulous Fat Plothead Choir, an eight piece choir drawn together by Transmissionplot’s Erik Süss.
The song was called “Nightmare Before Christmas” and after the recording Larry, Erik, Tola from Kogo and Jonas Strömberg talked, and the thought of making a Christmas record with local bands from the Gävle area was born.
In the spring Larry gave Erik a call and the project was on its way. The idea was to contact local bands and ask them to write a Christmas song in English.
Many phone calls, e-mails, studio sessions and meetings later the record “from All Of Us…” was released in December.
All proceeds from the record went to RIA, an organization who helps the homeless in Gävle.
Next year the situation on the streets still was bad so record number two was recorded.
So this is our Christmas gift to the homeless in our town, and we hope the need for these records someday will cease to exist.

Yo(Ho!) Erik o alla andra. Det fanns en kille i Texas som oxå fick för sig att gynna de hemlösa. Blaze Foley var hans namn.. Han gick dock ett väldigt tragiskt öde till mötes så istället för att pengarna ifrån skivförsäljningen skulle gå till de hemlösa fick de användas för att finansiera hans egen begravning..
