fROMdUST is a five piece band that blends strong melodies with high-energy hard rock.
One could not classify them as emo, hard-core, punk, or metal. They just bring the rock, and they do it however they feel led, speaking their mind, and making music thats not confined to a mold - while never sacrificing a consistent sound.
Starting up in 1997 with Nick Bank & a couple of high-school friends on acoustic guitars, the band went through various style changes into their college years- namely becoming "full-out" rock. They flirted with the heavier side, but intentionally came back to using strong melodies, and a progressive edge that was never afraid to experiment with the lighter-side; achieving the dynamics they wanted in their music. The result: a rock band with versatility and variety within their style. fROMdUST includes: Nick Bank - vocals, Kyle Johnson - lead guitar, Cole Johnson - drums, Jake Loftis - bass, & Kent Peters - rhythm/ lead guitar.
Over the last several years fROMdUST has been privileged to play with artists such as Skillet, Day of Fire, Jonah33, Justified, Stellar Kart, Krystal Meyers, Tree63, Moriah, The Wedding, The Emberlight, Casting Pearls, Remedy Drive, Fresh I.E., The Supertones & Michael W. Smith.
"Sown in Weakness" is the band's latest recording project & the full length disc is a very accurate representation of what they sound like live - Mastered by Noah Mintz out of Vancouver, Canada - the disc is a confident presentation. This independently recorded disc has been very well received by both loyal fans, and newcomers alike.

You guys rock! Just wanted to give you a heads up that KBVU is looking to do a summer tour. If you guys can find a buisness near the SL area to book your band for a weekend in July or early august, let us know and KBVU will probably pick you and the establishment up on our tour and promote the heck out of you guys. 2 days guys...2 days...I CAN'T STAND IT!! just come do like 3 shows like one right after the other this weekend...one every night...cause that would stinking be the coolest thing evah!! you should hit up our graduation parties while you're here...amigos is catering mine..cause i work there and we have lots of cheesecake too!! it's going to rock...not as hard as your show of course...but still...
Oh my goodness you guys stinking rock and i will do all that is in my power to make sure there's tons of people at the show in may! It's the most perfect way to end High School...a rockin' concert with an amazing band!!
