   About From Home
From Home is 30 minutes of music written (mostly) by Jer Reid for 4 guitars and played by Jer Reid, Robert Johnston (Life Without Buildings), Robert Hubbert (El Hombre Trajeado) and Howie Reeve (Tattie Toes, Plates). In 4 'movements' (!) - It's got some loud bits, some quiet bits, some melody, some disonance (!), some rhythmic bits, some free-er bits. From Home now has dance and choreography by Annie Lok. There are some photos from the only previous From Home gig in the old Stereo back in May 2006 in the photos bit. Stevie Jones is usually part of From Home but not in the shows coming up. The idea is that the 4 guitarists will eventually all write a quartet. Hubby has already done a chunk and Jer has started messing about with him/ it. fromhomeguitars [at] yahoo [dot] co [dot] uk From Home is supported by the Scottish Arts Council. April 17th 2009 CCA Glasgow
