From the Ashes of My Sins was originally founded in mid-2006 with studio lineup of Crystal Holton (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Justin Kramer (guitar), Adam Perry (bass), and David Clark (drums). After a tumultuous recording session, the band parted ways in favor of other musical pursuits; the recordings from those sessions (thankfully) lost forever. While working as musicians-for-hire, Crystal and David met bassist Rob Short in 2008. Instant musical chemistry inspired the three to resurrect the original project, and begin writing as a trio. Justin Scrivener joined the project in October, adding his shredding lead guitar and vocal skills to the current lineup.
From the Ashes of My Sins is currently in studio recording their first full-length album, anticipated for release in September 2009.
