“From the bridge we’ll watch it all,
The rush the rise, the calm the fall
And into it all, our toes, we will dip
We’ll dance, we’ll sing, we’ll sit, we’ll sip…”
This is our humble attempt to bring strings of soul and folk prose to the whole, grand Unfold. An acoustic groove to suit those hip to Dylan, Harper, Marley, et al., whether you feel like a little swing, sway, or stepping slow, this is what flows From the Bridge.
And while we’re continually floored by the coolness of those on-board, when it comes to an intricate explanation as to some grand formula, plan, or process behind the music, with deepest apologies, we’re likely to be little more than mum.
See, as we embrace the less-than-lyrical saying that there ain’t no “fish on a wall with its mouth shut”, Mike, James, Peter and I are pretty content to not meddle or mess with any Muse that happens our way. As Aldous Huxley said, “After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music”. This also works the other way ‘round.
To us, poetry paired with a little melody rarely needs any extra coddling or handling other than the simple planting of the seed. Then...it’s Ms. Nature’s...and what need be.
Just as a bridge, music need not only be a place of idle passing, or merely a point of connection, but also a spot to stop and share a moment with another, looking out in the same direction.
Sincerely,
Michael Bolt
Peter Krpan
James Spekkens
Kerr Smith

A) GREAT music. I'm starting to love acoustic more and more lately.
B) Any friend of Moneen, is a friend of mine... Even though I'm really not friends with Moneen, I just LOVE their music. Not to say I wouldn't WANT to be friends with Moneen, I would jump at the opportunity to meet them. Just saying it is implausible for me to meet them let alone become friends.
Really sorry couldn't make it last night, had an early departure for South Carolina this morning that got bumped up. Congrats again on the gig, will hook up when I get back.
Thanks for the add! My name is Kristen. I am the Leadership Facilitator at Dreams for Kids. I was wondering if you were interested in volunteering or fundraising for Dreams for Kids. It doesn't take too much time and you can have a huge impact on the lives of children. For example, be a mentor or more creatively do what you love by throwing a socially responsible party and benefit Dreams for Kids! Please let me know on MySpace or by emailing me at dreamsforkids.kristen@gmail.com.

Hey guys, great show in the chicago for the embrace race. I'm really diggin the EP too. Hope to hear you guys again soon. keep up the smooth work, Pauly Griffin
bolt, sorry i've been so aloof with details about chicago. i've been trying like mad to get a hold of the right person at bar chicago, but shes away for a week setting up branch in another state. what we've done, and will know tonight, is we've gotten back in touch with a place that we wanted before, but they couldn't do the saturday night. We're trying to shoot with them for the Friday night, and everyone will go there to watch you, and we'll hug everyone in the place, and you lot can perform there. To be honest, its much better as its purpose built for concerts, so you won't need to worry bout sound men and all. I know that all needs to be sorted asap. trust me that am on it like crazy, is just so frustrating to get people on the phone or email from this end. But this other place sound real keen on having yous there (and is massive!!) but we're finalizing everything tonight, so my bro or i might ring you on sunday for a chat! hope that's okay for you and you're still up for the whole sha bang. truly yours, your biggest fan
can't wait buddy. Did kerr speak to you bout hotels and what not? I'm putting it out to everyone on monday/tuesday, but wanted to give you and james first dibs for parents or family. I've booked 15 rooms at this SpringHill Mariott just outside Chicago. They've given us a great deal, even though its still $119 per night (get buffet breaky included!) The rooms fit 5. There's king rooms and doubles. I figured for families, the parents could go for the king rooms and there's a pull out couch in the living room for those. But whatever you like. i know its quick sort of decision, but whatever you need, if you phone up Michael Jordan (i know) at 6303237530 quoting 'Dreams for kids fundraiser' they'll give the discount. let me know anyways pal. k....am a little kid, but how long till they're up??!!!! you guys up for playing in the streets with us?
