Basically, we've decided to do some last dates, just to finish it off on a good note between the band and any fans who weren't too happy with us just breaking it off with no closure. The dates will be later this year, just before Christmas time. FTCOHx
Hi people! First of all we just want to say a HUGE thank you to FAZ and THIRTY DAYS OF NIGHT for helping us out all this time! Second, a huge shout out to Seraph Impaled and Post-mortem Promises for being amazing friends, and all the other bands we've befriended along the way! All the promoters who have put us up around the country, Ellie for giving us a practice room. and all the kids who have travelled and waited to see us live! Thank YOU!
Sorry to announce the bad news so suddenly, and a MASSIVE apology to all the promoters and kids who were expecting to see us at the shows we've yet to play on our home page, but do to problems in the band that have escalated in the past few weeks, From The Carnival Of Horrors have split.
Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who has supported us, listened to our music and come to our shows to have a good time, thank you to all of our friends especially.

"The Bad Shepherds play punk songs on folk instruments. Not as a gag, but because we really like the noise. We think the songs are better than people remember. We love folk instruments. It works.
We do songs by The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Stranglers The Jam, Sham 69, The Undertones, Talking Heads, Squeeze and others, even Kraftwerk! Alright, they're not all punk, but they come from roughly the same era.
We've mostly given the songs a kind of Celtic feel, and we've stuck in the odd reel and jig here and there. But occassionally we just thrash! I've always thought the excitement of a reel taking off is the nearest thing to the excitement of watching punk live in the 70's."
