From the Hearts of Heroes Emerged on the scene in April 2006 supporting ‘Behind Crimson Eyes’, ‘The Daylight Curse’ and ‘Wish for wings’ in their first show, only months after the release of their debut, self titled EP. Described as a mix of Hardcore and punk with a twist of metal and soaring choruses, the Sunshine coast based five piece produce a stage show that has gained them the respect as a band to rival their genre’s counterparts. Without a record label, From the Hearts of Heroes have taken a D.I.Y. approach over the past 2 years, touring the east coast as far north as Rockhampton and as far south as Melbourne, playing alongside a barrage of well established bands including: Escape The Fate, Parkway Drive, The Butterfly Effect, The Amity Affliction, 50 lions, Shihad, The Wrath, Something With Numbers, Coma Lies, BCE, The Daylight Curse and Wish for Wings - As well as a short tour in New Zealand early in 2007, Supported by local legends Callista, Trigger theory and False start. From the Hearts of Heroes have been in the studio since September, working on their latest EP (The Weight of A thousand Swords) to hit the shelves this june. Their second EP includes the song “Together we stand alone” which feature in BLUNT magazine’s March issue. A must see for fans of It Dies today, Atreu, A day to remember, Haste the day, still remains and funeral for a friend. Do not miss this band when they visit your city.
