    In the morning: Christian praise music, especially Gospel. Kirk Franklin, Ron Kenoly, Mahalia Jackson. Alternative/soul/contemporary goes great the rest of the day, like Ten Shekel Shirt and other not-super-big-name, but down-to-earth awesome bands and artists.

    The Bible really says it all. Chuck Colson has a neat perspective. Oswald Chambers is deep, but good. Betty Crocker Cookbook is a classic, even if I did rework a lot of the recipes.
