'Yes, the main stage is good and all, but Reading's real low-key treasure trove is the BBC Introducing Stage, which brings us the sublime guitar swishings of Frontiers.' The Fly Magazine
'The closing double whammy of 'Alibi' and 'In Pursuit' really set pulses racing; bassist Jake Austin's floor pummeling rhythms coupled with Charlie Burley's dazzling guitar work providing the undoubted catalyst in each case. Although it's still early days in their career, the future is surely theirs for the taking.' - Drowned in Sound
'Soaring, yet subtle, widescreen pop on a par with Elbow or Sigur Ros - a winning formula' - thiscitymagazine.co.uk
'In Pursuit balances somewhere between Joy Division at their most charming and The Cure... a really, really good tune that sticks with you for days after' - Sandman Magazine
'Never has a Nottingham group of their age made such magnificently accomplished music full of tantalising promise. If you get a chance...see them.' - BBC E.Midlands.

Formed in 2008, Frontiers are one of Nottingham's most promising up-and-coming bands. Produced by Alan Smyth (Pulp, Arctic Monkeys), October 2008's 'In Pursuit EP' has achieved regular regional and national radio play (including BBC Radio 1 and 6Music) and support slots with Official Secrets Act and Fight Like Apes have established them as one of the area’s most thrilling live acts. With appearances at Summer Sundae Weekender and Reading and Leeds Festivals in August 2009, and a sound reminiscent of Joy Division and The Cure, Frontiers hark back to the era of golden indie, and at the tender age of 18, are an improbably talented prospect.

No worries Jake, it's no surprise you've had a hectic time.
I don't listen to Jack Johnson at all, but it's not a bad thing you think you can hear some of him in my music; he's known for easy listening. Yeah, you're right - I do write lyrics about what I think about unrestrained. I'm hesitant whether it's too intense but hopefully the music is just easy to listen to to kind of soften that, so thanks for the encouragement I appreciate it.
Oh no, again! What's happening with Jonny, I thought he quit then joined again, now he's gone again! How come?
