We are the Frosted Tipz and we hail from Dirt City, Alberta, Canada. We like to rock out. A lot. Some of our songs are heavy, some of them are insidiously catchy, all of them are fun and often people like to dance to them at our shows. We like those people.
There are four people in our band. Amy sings, Curtis plays guitar, Alan plays bass and Drrn hits the drums very loudly.
We love to throw down anywhere, anytime on any stage that we possibly can because that's how we roll. We've played shows with punk legends (Nomeansno), pop stars (Metric), movie stars (Juliette Lewis), and all around awesome bands that you know you love (You Say Party! We Say Die!, Cadence Weapon, The Bell-Rays, Pride Tiger) and if we haven't played for you yet, don't worry 'cuz we're getting right on that. Promise.
We will have a full length record coming out later this year. If that seems like far too long of a wait we also have a four song e.p. called "Head vs. Hips" that is available now.

Hey just letting you know of a sweet show this friday July 11th at Mead Hall 10940-166A Street (Behind the Mayfield Field Inn) Doors at 8pm Show at 9pm. Bands are: KINGS WITHOUT (From Vancouver Island) SCREWTAPE LEWIS (Former Sonic Band of the Month) and DAWN IN THE CITY.
