Frosthold are a 5-piece Anglo-Saxon inspired metal band based in the UK.
James (Vocals)
Tom (Drums)
Phil (Guitar/Vocals)
Joss (Bass)
Chris (Guitar)
The band originated in 1999 with James, Chris and Tom with Phil joining in 2002.
They went through numerous Bassists so Phil stepped down from Rhythm guitar to Bass. They later renamed "Frosthold"
Chris then left the band in 2004 to commit to his newborn and family.
After Chris left, we were in the dark for a while, but eventually we decided to make a come-back Phil (then the bassist) turned over to guitar duties as he knew the songs.
We found bassist, Joss in 2005 who completed the line-up of Frosthold.
Gradually we built up a good reputation in Portsmouth playing gigs at the Wedgewood Rooms and getting support with Cradle Of Filth at the Pyramids.
Later Chris made a return to guitar duties in august 2007 when it looked like Phil would be departing. The departure did not happen and Frosthold went back to a 5 piece band gaining them more depth in the music.
