Frozen is a band with a long, long history. Originally lead singer Jente started the band with an old friend/ex-drummer. In the search for a talented guitar player they found some players who didn’t seem to have the ambitions that they need to have, so the story didn’t last for a long time. Finally, Jente met Sebastian who seemed to be an extraordinary talented, left-handed guitar player with an amazing and strong ambition. After playing a little and performing some shows, the band realized that they needed a good bass player. After having some guys coming over for practice, Wouter finally came into the ‘Frozen’-story. He is talented and his personality matched great with the others. This new band seemed to be created. But soon, other problems came. The drummer seemed to have some problems and his good relationship with the band members was slowly fading away. It was a hard decision to make but Jente, Sebastian and Wouter finished the relationship with him. The search for a new drummer was open. It seemed like a sign from God, because with a lot of luck, Michiel heard he could come to a rehearsal for some practice. Jente was falling in love with his amazing skills, so Michiel was approved to come into the band. So with a lot of luck and after a hard time searching and finding band members, Frozen was finally born. The band started to practice a lot and the beginning was amazing. After only two months they were already selected for the famous contest: Humo’s Rockrally. And a couple of months later Frozen seemed to live in a fairytale after winning the ‘Red Bull Music Academy Wildcard’. Because of the victory the band had recorded the song ‘Stella’ with the famous Belgian producer: Guus Fluut. It is possible to see how things went in the studio on this MySpace-page. The band also won a huge backdrop. The logo from this backdrop is on the top of this MySpace-page and is something the band is very proud of. You can see how it is made in the video on this MySpace-page. And things are looking good now. Frozen is going to shoot a video clip in October , from the song ‘Stella’. By writing new songs, having a lot of rehearsals, searching and playing as much shows as possible, the band is heading forward and is looking optimistic to the future. Because of the band, an extremely rare friendship is created and every single member of the band lives to play as much rock ’n’ roll music as possible.
