About me:

Welcome to Frozen In Time Photography's myspace page!

Frozen In Time is a photography studio with the average, every-day person in mind. We understand that everyone wants personable, unique photos to savor their memories forever, and we are here to make sure you get just that at the fraction of the cost of wedding-industry photographers.

Frozen In Time's services include, but are not limited to:

- Event photography - Weddings, religious ceremonies (baptisms, bar/bat mitzvas, dedications, rites of passage, etc), family gatherings, sporting events, conferences, and more

- Portraits - Individual, family/groups, adults and couples (including intimate photography), children, and pets of all types.

- Graphic design - Business cards, brochures, advertisements, banners, and more.

- Photo correction and manipulation - Touching up old photos, removing blemishes, and so on.

- Scanning and back-up - Scan your film photos onto a CD for safekeeping or to make copies!

We serve Chicago and the suburbs. A second photographer may be available for your event.
If you have a photography service you don't see here, just ask!

So what is the difference between a wedding-industry photographer and an art and events photographer?

- A wedding-industry photographer is a person or company whose main income comes from weddings. There's nothing wrong with this, but have you ever noticed that their photos tend to lack... something special? And that their packages tend to have too much... hmm, cost? The reason for this is that most wedding photographers are more business than art. And, as we all know, mention the word "wedding" and suddenly the prices skyrocket!

- An art and event photographer has a broader range of services for less cost and tends to be an individual rather than a company. Many art and event photographers are local people, sometimes husband-and-wife teams, who live in your community and want to enrich it. As a result, their photography is more art than business. Their goal is to provide individualized service, not just the same boring package everyone else gets. The photos tend to reflect the atmosphere of the person or event being photographed because they pay attention to the details that make you and your event unique.

Photography is an art, and it is our personal philosophy that art is for everyone.

Oh Renee--I'm so sorry to hear about the parking! And I was so close to seeing you!!! I will be having another show somewhere towards the end of September so I'll let you know. Also, I can also give you some places to look for parking like on LaSalle which is a block east of Wells. I usually find parking there along the side of the road--although I sometimes have to walk a few blocks to get to Second City. I'll keep in touch.
