OUR HISTORY: We met in 2003 and actually dyed together our first time we hung out. We became official on May 5, 2003 (Cinco de Mayo). We begun selling dyes with some friends along Cross Lanes Drive. Things then took a different turn, and we all went our different ways, except for Jimmy and I. We were engaged on August 8, 2004. While expecting our son, Noah, we decided we wanted to make him his very first tie dyes. This of course got us back in the dying groove. After Noah was born, we continued making dyes. We dyed a bunch of t's red, white, and blue for 4th of July, and went to a local flea market hoping to make some cash. We ended up not selling a thing. Disappointed, we decided to go to a local school, in Cross Lanes, and try to sell. We put a box of dyes on our car and put up a sign that said Tie Dyes $5. The dyes were gone in less than an hour. Excited, we went home and made some more dyes. We slowly began to grow, improving our dyes and our set up, and were soon doing very well at this location. After setting up there for over a year, the principal of the school told us we had to leave. We then switched to Rock Branch Elementary, and then Scott Teays, but were run off from those locations as well after several months. We were tired of not having a consistent location, so we rented out a booth at Brandywine Flea Market in Nitro. This did not go well at all. We ended up going in the hole due to the lack of business Brandywine has. In January 2008, we left Brandywine and began setting up our stand at an abandoned gas station in Nitro. We did fairly well at this location, but then again after several months of setting up there, the city recorder told us we had to leave. This same day, we heard about Hollywood Video hosting flea markets on Saturdays for a fee. We jumped on it since Cross Lanes has always been our most profitable location. Just when we thought this was the prime spot til we open our storefront, we hear that Hollywood Video is going out and a Walgreens is being put in. Thankfully God then opened another door for us, and we are not setting up at the Cross Lanes Pharmacy parking lot on Big Tyler Road, thanks to the great people of the pharmacy! Selling dyes really helps out, its a second income which allows Lisa to be able to stay home and take care of Noah while being in school. We are also expecting our second son, Elijah on July 2 this year! Please keep our family in your prayers and feel free to contact us for all your dying needs.

We are Fruits of the Spirit, a Christian, family-owned and operated soon to be business! In the past we have set up our stand at various locations in the area, including Cross Lanes, Scott Teays, and Rock Branch Elementary Schools along with local flea markets and festivals such as Poca Heritage Day. We had a seasonal shop at Brandywine Flea Market in Nitro. We also set up at the old Rich gas station in Nitro. Most recently we had been setting up at Hollywood Video in Cross Lanes, and are now setting up on Saturdays at the Cross Lanes Pharmacy on Big Tyler Road.

We rarely sell wholesale. Custom orders are available, but may take a few weeks to do. We do different designs including the cross, peace sign, spiral swirl, spider, sunburst, V, wave, american flag, hearts, etc.
We also do a lot of two color combos such as red and black and blue and gold for local schools.
