About me:
FSG.. a 501(c) 3 non profit organization created by metalsmiths to aid and support other metalsmiths through meetings, publicity, workshops, and exhibitions. Contributions are tax deductible to the limits the law will allow.
FSG.. members are primarily active metalsmiths. There are no geographic restrictions or limits to kinds of metals employed. Members' work runs the gamut from platinum and gold to iron and tin.
FSG.. has five chapters in the state of Florida and a large membership outside the state.
FSG.. desires to broaden public awareness and appreciation of fine quality handcrafted metal pieces.
FSG.. publishes a newsletter four times annually to inform the members about activities and pertinent metals information.
FSG.. was formed in 1984 to provide metalsmiths with opportunities for education and information exchange about materials sources and sales outlets.
FSG.. presents workshops under the guidance of qualified metalsmiths.

Come to the monthly meetings to see step-by-step technique demonstrations, share you recent projects and find out about local classes, tools, books, shows, suppliers, calls for entries, and regional workshops.

The Emerald Coast Bead Society presents their annual Holiday Show December 1, 2007 at The Wright Place. Admission is Free. Items to be featured are glass, lamp work and dichroic beads, findings, finished jewelry, batik clothing and articles, macrame items, wire-wrapped jewelry, soft-sculpture dolls, purses, decorated gourds, pottery, paintings and other artwork all made by the members of the Emerald Coast Bead Society. Come check out the excellent variety of beads and gifts available for your selection.

I know I already said it, but I have to say it again. Of all the jewelry I saw lastnight at Gallery Night, the jewelry of the FSG members was by far the best!
BTW, congrats again on the baby. I know that you and Burton will be wonderful parents. What a lucky kid. ;)
