One time, we needed to buy a memory card for Matt's recorder, but when we got to Guitar Center, they didn't have any. We ended up buying a really cheap one at like.. Circuit City or somewhere. It didn't even work right; we didn't find that out until way too late though.
We're trying to be a real band, but everyone is always coming and going. It makes it hard. Some day, maybe we'll finally get it right. Hopefully.
Fight the Good Fight was birthed from failed attempts of Adam and Strayer to, although they'll never admit it, rip-off American Football. Thankfully, that didn't work out. Instead, they joined forces with Bryce and Matt, and after a few months spent forgetting capos and getting grounded, they played a show. And recorded a few demos, which one could find on this page. After a while, Strayer left to live on an island and "dock boats for tips on the hour" - his words, not mine. Kevin, of local favorite Antilles, joined on a temporary basis; they played a show or two together, wrote like one song, and parted ways. Time passed, Adam went to college. They played a Halloween show. Bryce dressed up like a road. They had a brief, teary eyed reunion with Strayer around Christmas. Then, after a few long-winded e-mails discussing future plans, Adam returned home from college, the 3 founding members joined forces with the infamous Josh Snyder, and all was well in FTGF land.
What happens next, I don't know. I read in Rolling Stone last month they might record a full length and play a few shows during the month of August. But those guys never get their facts straight, do they?
