The blossoming
of a new beginning is upon us all as a celebration of 'unity', 'love',
and the 'adventure of life' is the theme for our next hugely anticipated
Gathering, which kicks off a whole new season of adventure and festivities'
'Fu-Cha' has secured Hornbill's neighbouring property 'Pernasus',for
the Spring Fest. providing more parking space and a secluded camping option
on the banks of the Magalies River which is overlooked by a towering cliff face
and is surrounded by natures beauty... Nestled in the heart of the 'Magaliesburg',
the picturesque 'Hornbill ravine' is the home of 'Fu-Cha'
and is ideally set to highlight these gatherings as a 'global' festival
destination' in Gauteng...
...Come join us as we meander down the river to the 'energy',
'sights' and 'sounds' of 'da Fu-Cha'...
>>Headlining Artists:
>>Headroom (CT) (Live set)
(Adam Metcalfe)
With a driven approach towards sculpting a new range of serious 'art-elligent';
music, Headroom is catapulting his way to the realm of the non-forgettables.
He has only been producing full time for just over a year, and is set to release
his debut album with Nano in 2008.
Beating stereotype and predictability, there is a keen desire to attain a new
level of conscious fullon trance highlighting Headroom as a worthy master of
his trade and a must-see on this season's dance floor. The release of
his first single 'The future begins today',"Network",
Nano Records 2005, amongst others has cemented him a place in the future of
psychedelic music.
Having dj'd for eight years, his accelerated understanding of production
is what translates his personal signature sound on today's scene. Already
Origins (S.A), Earthdance (S.A), Glade (U.K), Tribe '6 Anos' (BR),
Kaballah '4 Anos'; (BR), Mother 'S.O.S.'; (JP), Antaris
(GER) and Universo Paralello (BR) have caught on to Headroom's talents.
With previous releases on Nano and various memorable live performances. Be sure
not to miss this Psy legend performing @ 'Fu-Cha'.
>>Killer Robot (CT)
Ivan (Live) & Bruno Morphet (Dj set)
Killer Robot was founded in July 2006 at Fiction in Cape Town, South Africa.
Having already played on the same bill at various gigs around Cape Town, techno
stalwart Ivan and Bruno Morphet, an established dj on the underground circuit
joined Fiction resident AK47 to kick off a night that would address the gap
in the market for techno, electro, minimal and dub techno sounds with upstart
club 'Fiction' providing the ideal stage for the endeavour with
its forward thinking music policy and maverick attitude.
Since then Killer Robot has risen to become the premier residency in South
Africa for cutting edge electronic music, with a reputation for being the country's
open channel to the international underground. Names like Butane, Seth Troxler
and Bodycode and representatives from Kompakt, Gigolo and M-Nus have all played
to packed dancefloors in its intimate surroundings. The Robots, having played
alongside Lee Buridge, Steve Bug, Luciano, Guido Schneider, James Zabiela and
James Lavelle on their tours of SA, and their pioneering work on electronic
stages at previously niche outdoor events, have won over new fans and has made
them a 'must have' feature at 'Fu-Cha Gatherings'

production 'Fu-Cha' presents, then wait 'til you see what
we have installed for the coming 'SPRING FEST'! Quality sound, mind
blowing lighting & an intelligent visual experience with more emphasis being
placed on the 2nd stage due to the massive support shown for it at the previous
'Fu-Cha' Festival of Fan-Ta-Zee'...

>>'Fu-Cha' Tips:
- Anyone who has been to a festival of this nature before will tell you
that it's essential to have your own space of accommodation. A tent shared
amongst friends is perfect to have as a base to experience everything this festival
has to offer. Your base will allow you to step out of the fun for a rest whenever
you like. No need to be traveling back home at some silly hour. (Please see
camping details under ticket info.)
- Bring warm jackets and at least one change of clothes to ensure your
comfort.
- Swimming gear, towels and sun block are essential.
- A torch is always a handy item if you are camping.
- Fu-Cha has experienced random weather at past gatherings so bring a
raincoat and other wet weather accessories as no matter what weather comes,
this party never stops!!!
