Influences
All of our own personalities rolled into a juerga. And kinda sounds like a mixture of the following: Ojos De Brujo, Paco De Lucia, Al Dimeola, Vicente Amigo, Ketama, Gipsy Kings, Andre Balazs, Tool ( the sole opinion of the violin player) Flamenco, World Music, Umm Kathoulum, Gypsys, Arabic, Zikrayat, Sami Abu Shumays, All great Jazz legends, All great musicians and all of our friends, family and supporters.
"Like Godzilla tearing down the Alhambra from the inside out."(Hartford Advocate Sept. 2006)
The first generation of Fuego Del Corazon consisted of Daniel Salazar III on Flamenco Guitar, Daniela Turano on Violin, Wade Hutson on Percussion, Cajon, and Trumpet and Kevin Njikem on Electric Guitar.
NOW the group has a new line up: Daniel Salazar III on a new flamenco GUITAR(and Tequila), Daniela Turano on something that sounds like a VIOLIN(and Disarono),Andre Balaz on KEYS, VOCALS, CAJON (and a wole bottle of Jameson), Wesley Hall on DRUM KIT, hand PERCUSSION(and a glass of red wine), and Ben Golder-Novick on the mean ole' SAX(and a Beer). We have the reputation for being described as "A sultry fusion of Flamenco, Latin and World music."
