FUKADUGALON is the technique by which musical improvisation assists in understanding the translations submitted by the insects and aviarians of the communications sent by extraterrestrial beings emitted from the glowing pylons that occasionally rise from the ocean to transmit the aforementioned messages.
The Fukadugalon project consists of an ongoing improvised musical take over that expands it operative membership with each performance by inviting and initiating new operatives and then allowing those new operatives to take on their own musical attacks under the auspices of Fukadugalon. To date there have been a dozen or more Fukadugalon performances and the amoeba of noise has grown from five to ten members and currently is based in three states. Expectations for European manuevers and online postings of soundscapes are slated for appearances before the end of the year.
Projected expansion at this rate will increase our numbers by 200% and thereby deepen the catalogue of our recordings and performance events by the same.
Fukadugalon is here and the tramissions of the aliens will be devulged soon. Kepp listening - keep improvising! We will understand their rantings someday and then we will be free of the musical ineptitude that is rampant on this planet!
This is what happens at Fukadugalon performances! Here is Operative Seesar playing the homemade instrument contest co-winner for the 2006 le Poisson Rouge noise festival, Honolulu, HI, USA.
You can almost see the other co-winner in the background; a Russolo-esque giant resonator with a crank that plucked tunable stings creating various alternating tritone chords.
