Sounds Like"..sporadic Enablers-esque spoken word vocals, songs and riffs that loop lethargically and dreamily, heavy on the distorted chords/clean picking juxtaposition, with prevalent bass lines and minimalist drums..."
Nostalgia for Infinity

“No, we don’t know how you’re supposed to pronounce it either but Fulangchangandi manage to impress with a brand of glowering, slightly off-kilter, mostly instrumental rocking that’s most parts Mogwai but occasionally hits God Machine levels of heaviosity. Their best moments come in the purely instrumental passages, showing a band who carry it off with some style and power..”
Nightshift Magazine, Oxford

"..the Slint slammer comes in with the muffled spoken words carpeted underneath the sickly sweet layers of apocolyptical awkwardness...or some kind of black storm looming over waiting for a butterfly to flap its wings. You know the score, its a great mix, almost like the theme tune to a more mainstream curated ATP festival. Highly enjoyable indeed, another band to put on the metaphorical one to watch list that seems to be growing bigger each week."
Nothingatall.net

"..Some lyric about "the will to live / slipping out through my urine" - if it is that, great. You know how your friend's 'noise' band sounds? It would be great if it sounded like this. It's a voice saying brilliant things to do with suburban pain over swathes of 'noise' guitar.."
Tasty Fanzine

"Ex-Jesus Knives guitarists excursions into noise sculpted rock songs along with 2 New Zealanders who know most things about table top hypnotics"

   About fulangchangandi R.I.P.09
fulangchangandi

Fulangchangandi (foo-lang-chang-and-I) was a noise-rock band from London, UK. They formed in late 2008 when Northerners Nick Peel and Stu Gardham, met Southern New Zealanders Anthony Lander and Stu Harwood. They released 1 EP which is up here. Audio engineer Hugh Harlow recorded it in a single day at SAE studios in Dalston. Leading Dunedin-sound producer Dale Cotton (High Dependency Unit, Dimmer, The Verlaines) mixed the songs at his production house in New Zealand.
Stu and Anthony had to return home so the fulang decided to call it quits. Thanks to everyone who helped us along the way.x

“A wave of emotion swept over a crowd gathered at Eisenhower Auditorium last night. At one moment, members of the crowd could be seen shouting in laughter. Minutes later, tears were pouring out of their eyes. The event that moved the crowd to such animation was a speech made by fulangchangandi, the founder and President of the Evangelical Association for the Promotion of the Ridiculous. Fulang attracted an audience which filled three-fourths of the floor seating in the auditorium. His speech was titled "Is Jesus a Tory or a Socialist?" and Fulang, who is also a Professor of Ridiculousness at Some College, St. David's, Liverpool, said the answer to the question his speech and book title pose is, "Jesus is neither a Tory nor a Socialist - I'm not even sure he would vote in this election."”

Would it help if I marry one of the guys? I'm a EU citizen.
I'm not sure if this could work, but I like the idea!

Hi Nick,
nice to meet you too. Yes, i know. The next days after your live set i have seen a few of very interesting bands. I think that, at the moment,  the London's underground music scene is very good, with experimental, noisy, psychedelic sounds that i appreciate.
So, i've just started to play your music in my radio shows and i will continue to do that on the the next
Have a good day
