fulare_pad [フラリーパッド]とは、ふらり、旅に出るという意味の造語。

ウクレレの前田大輔、ギターの清水英之による、京都発アコースティック・インストゥルメンタル・デュオ。
幼なじみで、同じ13歳でエレキギターを始めた２人は、各々の活動を経て、ウクレレとアコースティックギターで再会し、2005年にfulare_padを結成。

2007年に初のミニアルバム『fulare_pad』を発表し、ライブ活動を活発化。地元京都のテレビに出演したのがきっかけで、2008年に代表曲「サマー・シュプール」が、化粧品SK-IIのテレビCMに起用され一躍話題となり、EMIミュージック・ジャパンよりアルバム『京風（きょうふう）』でメジャーデビュー。
2009年2月から新曲「オーシャン」が、再びSK-IIのテレビCM曲として使用され、同年5月にはセカンドアルバム「フラリー・トロリー・ツアー」をリリース。

2010年夏、初のセルフプロデュースによるサードアルバム『風風風〜fufufu〜』をリリース。サッポロ・シティ・ジャズ2010　パークジャズライブ・コンテストにて、審査員特別賞を受賞。

現在、全国各地のカフェやライブハウスなどで、勢力的にライブ活動中。 そのフレッシュでエネルギッシュなサウンドで、人々の心に爽やかな風を届けている。

"fulare_pad" (phonetically "fla-ry-pad") is a combination of a Japanese word "furari" meaning wandering and an English word of "pad" referring walking around. Like its original name, the unique harmony created by a Ukulele and an Acoustic Guitar takes you out to the music journey to provide the fresh soothing air to your soul.

Daisuke Maeda on Ukulele and Hideyuki Shimizu on Acoustic Guitar, fulare_pad stepped out their way to be a professional in 2005. The childhood friends showed their interest in music at the age 13 and started play Electric Guitars. From Rock to Jazz, being introduced various genre of music, Daisuke found his true interest in Ukulele while Hideyuki found his in Acoustic Guitar. In 2008, their signature tune “Summer Spur” was featured on the TV commercial of Japan’s highclass beauty brand SK-II, which brought them an opportunity to make a professional debut on EMI Music Japan.

In 2010, they made a trial of their music to Jazz-Fusion field and won Special Jury Prize at the contest of the biggest Jazz festival in Japan Sapporo City Jazz. It had them make their first debut to the world by being a part of Toronto Jazz Festival and followed by the occasion to perform at Annual Ukulele Festival in Hawaii in 2011.

With their belief in power that music has, fulare_pad is delivering happiness and smiles to the world with their energetic performance and refreshing sound from Kyoto, Japan.
