Intensity! High energy! And raw power. Put all of these elements together and what do you get? "FULL CRY", a thrash metal/hard rock (and beyond) based band from Florida.
Established in November of 2005, the band was originally formed in Seminole, FL as a heavy metal cover band...due to ever changing club agendas. Original bands were struggling in the Central FL scene as some clubs closed their doors to original bands...and some entirely shutting down. The band was formed with the idea of a female singer belting out Pantera, Megadeth, Metallica and the likes of that genre, would never be seen as a bad imitation...but as fresh air breathed into some of our favorite heavy tunes. Although the band excelled at cover tunes, it wasn't long before they started writing original material and working it into their shows with the cover songs.
Full Cry is a term which describes the loudest possible noise one can make. Such as wolf howling at the moon or tracking dogs baying after picking up their prey's scent. This is where the meaning “in full cry” comes from in fox hunts. The dual meaning of the term is a perfect fit for the band. While delivering high volume and high energy performances, they are also focused and chasing the ultimate prey, the hunt for more fans. And so you have it! FULL CRY!! A band evoking greats of the past, stalking the present and hunting the future!
