About me: We're calling all banjos to come to aid of our beloved Freighthouse.
Some of the areas finest indie, old-time, punk, roots and bluegrass performers will be plucking on the ol' banjo April 5, 2008 from 5-10 p.m. at the Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti, Mich.
Donations of $5 or more are appreciated at the door.
All proceeds benefit the hardworking Friends of the Ypsilanti Freighthouse.
Who I'd like to meet: Everyone round town who wants to see the Freighthouse open its doors again.
Looking forward to the show at the Corner, be nice to see some fellow pickers in action. Is there a flier somewhere that I can print off to spread the word? I'd like to put one up at work and maybe a few around town, especially at the music stores.
