Full Immersion are born in 2003, when driven by their passion for music Luca on guitar, Nail as vocalist, and Fabio on drums, decide to meet in a suburban basement, just trying to find out a sense to their lives using the power of music. After a ceaseless quest Dani (“Grandad”) finally joins the group on bass, and now Full Immersion’s proper adventure can start: a band with a distinctly funky sound combined with rugged and rock-like distortions, contradictory lyrics, and plenty, plenty of energy.
The group doesn’t take long to find the right tuning, and a few months later they are ready to face their first concerts in pubs and music clubs in their host city: Turin, “a reality at times too crude or simply too dull to surrender to a dance with the moon”, as recite one of their lyrics. Alongside their various live performances the band, witnessing increasing interest from an ever growing number of people, decide to enter the recording studio, giving birth in 2005 to a cd-demo consisting of four songs chosen directly by the “faithful” who follow them in their concerts.
2006 begins in great style: Full Immersion achieve significant recognition on various fronts. In fact in March they win the “Shouting Sottovoce Competition", and get a repeat two months later at the “Beto Music Live Contest”, where they obtain first place among more than 70 bands from all over Italy, and the opportunity to perform at the important “Beto Music Festival” in the summer.
Besides, their songs “Why” and “She” from their demo are chosen for insertion into various compilations by critics and members of the music scene, and some local radio stations decide to play them in their music palimpsest.
All this pushes the band to re-enter the recording studio, where among other things they also record their new song “Someday”, which wants to be a mix of poetry and music, and that has been immediately welcomed with interest by critics in the field of music and other.
Full Immersion are at the moment looking for promotion through concerts, trying in particular to “sponsor” their hard-won demo, that has been made possible so far thanks also to the cooperation of other bands, who have asked them to play in joint live performances. The group wish to obtain a contract which might allow them to at last record a whole album, hoping to be one day surrounded by more and more people who want to plunge in full immersion in the sounds of
