SMALL was created in July 2000 in Paris (France). Thanks to the musician’s different influences, the band has managed to create efficient songs which mix smashing riffs, virulent vocals and quality drumming. SMALL plays what we can call FULLMETAL.
From 2003 to 2006, SMALL recorded several demos which were greatly acclaimed by French underground and national magazines. Thus, the band’s motivation was strengthened and its determination sustained.
In the beginning of the year 2003, SMALL played their first gigs but got soon confronted to a very narrow minded French metal scene, unwilling to leave space to an unknown band: It was obvious that France is not a place for “Rock’n Roll”. Thanks to Tersim’s perseverance, SMALL managed to meet a few good souls which gave them the opportunity to play a few gigs in order to warm the machine, to get feedback from the audience and to unleash that rise of adrenalin that can’t be found in rehearsals!
The audience, from any background, is very receptive to the band’s energy and charisma on stage: Spontaneity, simplicity and efficiency are the master words for this quartet which tries to live up to the audience’s expectations.
2007, SMALL recorded their first 6 tracks cd “No Power Without Control” with Francis CASTE, one of the most promising French sound engineer.
With this first professional and attractive recording, the band is now ready to compete with most of the international bands and is going to assert itself as an outsider on the metal scene.
WE CANNOT FIGHT THE FUTURE ON OUR OWN, SO LET’S UNITE OUR VIBRATIONS THROUGH THE SOUND.
