yeah, i'm living in a German/American family.. my hostmom is from Germany and my hostdad is American. :) The kids understand German, the 7yearold girl can even speak German - quite good. :) The boy (3) understands almost everything but doesn't speak it. Well, i have to teach them a little.
Sounds great, because it seems like no one of my AuPair friends here are really into going to party and that's boring! So if you wanna go out, let me know. :) The only problem is, that i have to go back to NJ somehow and the last train leaves at 1.35am i guess and the next one's up at 7.30am or something.. that's stupid. :O
yeah, it's kind of my job .. that's why i'm in america. :D i'm an AuPair (you might have to google it, i guess.. seems like nobody has ever heard about that but desperate parents of course. ;D) so i'm working with kids and i'm living at my hostparents house in jersey.
how was your anime-dress-up-meeting on saturday? :) i was in manhattan too the last days but i've been busy doing things with a friend who is about to leave america and going back to Germany because her year is over.. so she wanted to buy some stuff she forgot. but i want to meet you again too. lets find a date to hang out or something. we could also go iceskating in december at Rockefeller Center, if you like to.. don't know why i was thinking about that right at the moment.. :D ha ha. maybe because i always wanted to do that. hm! just let me know, i bet you know much better what to do around NYC. ;) or lets go out and party hard. as i said, just let me know.
