You can read below to get a general idea of who I am, although keep in mind it is constantly changing, as it is for everyone, and hopefully, in my case, for the better.

Facebook profile
Resume!

I'm a very open minded person willing to try everything once. I did 6 years active duty as a nuclear reactor operator and Navy diver on submarines. Now I'm in the reserves as a Diver for NEDU (naval experimental Dive unit) trying to get into Submarine Rescue Deep Submergence Unit
If you like Motorcycles and want a ride on one give me a shout. I have a 2004 BMW sport bike (R1100S) This was a gift to myself for spending 6 months "under the sea" and living to talk about it! As long as the roads don't become ice, I'll be driving that bike!

For the most part I enjoy listening to all music. And doing it while riding my motorcycle, scuba diving, or rock climbing. It's one of those things that gets my mind off the stupid shit in life. Maintain a humble attitude. Although college has basically taken away all my free time. I go to all kinds of clubs from country line dancing to Goth/rave/techno things. I'm currently taking swing and tango lessons! I will wear anything; from red silk PJ's to a suit and tie to all black with spikes. I look at myself as the non conformist with a desire to learn/ try everything in life. So that when I become "that dirty old man" I can have a billion stories to tell. That is if God grants me life for that long.
I'm a Student at U of IL in Urbana-Champaign. My major is Radiological Nuclear Biomolecular Engineering (abbreviated version). Ha say that 3 times fast! I'm such a NERD! My educational goal is to get into the best MD-PhD program this world offers and become part of the fight of eliminating threats of cancer. But who knows maybe I'll just change my mind and become a snowboard bum in Colorado. I'd be happy with either but one of them puts me on a path to helping people and I get off on making people feel good =). And with this anomic state that I'm in I figured I'd do the best I can till I make up my mind.
Raised in the cornfields of Woodstock, IL(about 1 hour west of Chicago) We used to have chickens (till they started attacking my mom), 11 horses, a million cats/raccoons, only one dog(Husky) and a ton of other crazy critters. I raised a few raccoons when I was younger (we got one of those rehabilitation permits and a vet to sponsor us!)

How do you put a screw into a piece of wood which is perfectly smooth and has no holes? You use force and screw it in. Then just as a screw has to be forced and screwed in, so when you study you should bore firmly into the subject. ~Lei Feng~

It is the Sailor, not the reporter,
Who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the Sailor, not the poet,
Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the Sailor, not the campus organizer,
Who had given us freedom to demonstrate.
It is the Sailor, not the lawyer,
Who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the Sailor, who salutes the flag,
Who serves under the flag and
Whose coffin is draped by the flag
Who allows the protester to burn the flag!

RIDDLE:
If you touch me, you will die, but you can only live without me. I am a big
part of your life, and will eventually be the only thing left. You will
learn to embrace me finally and rest. What am I?

Who I'd like to meet:

Interesting, intellectual, and intelligent people with an openmind; not afraid to be crazy once in a while; preferably all the time.

Rerum novarum cupidus!

Life is too short to do even a 1/4 of what i want to do and finding the person who wants to do the same type of things as me seems even slimmer. I dislike people in general but I love the individual. In other words I have strife with robotic toolboxism or people who just take up space, follow life's traditions and are too afraid to think for themselves or aspire to do anything other than just the minimum. People who are afraid of changing for the better just because "thats the way mommy and daddy have always done it." Woah, I'm getting myself worked up! There are too many intelligent people out there who could help make this world better but don't b/c they are lazy selfish P.O.S! *rant rant* I'm typing too much and I'm sure no one will actually read this, but if you have give me shout tell me what you think just for the heck of it. I feel so alone sometimes (humanly speaking) or so far away from lifeforms with a similar opinion to me.
You should here why I believe water baptism is obsolete. I had a baptist priest tell me when I was living in New York (not in a rude or direct way) that I was going to hell if i didn't get baptized. I am a Christian who has a relationship with Jesus but I don't believe in any works that need to be done to become a Christian, faith alone makes you one, and what you do after you are a Christian is done to please Jesus/God. If this makes sense to you or you desire to understand more you better send me an email.
I'm a man of self-assessment and self-improvement. I change because I see it as helpful to me and others around me. I try not to follow the bandwagon and if i ever do I want you to come slap me in face and bring me back to reality! But what is reality, what is normal! Not me! I do not call myself wise, but i strive to become wise and with that desire I hope to become as such.
Growing up I spent a lot of time being alone and alienated from the crowd. I hated it then but I'm kind of happy it turned out that way due to how it helped me develop into what I am now. This upward mobility and intelligence I have I earned with sweat, tears, and pain along with the help of God (for I am a believer in predestination). I want to experience as many things as possible! ok I'm done rambling for now, I think I'm a little crazy, but being crazy makes things interesting so I love crazy!
I am a firm believer of science, but not evolution from nothingness (other than the evolution with in the same kinds of animals that were originally created in this world which obviously none of us can define or recognize). Evolution is a religion just like Christians, Muslims, Atheism, and Buddhism. They all require that you believe or have Faith in something, evolution just believes we came from a Rock that came from a Dot that Came from nothing. (If you can tell me otherwise please do) ...... ......
