An eclectic mix of Alternative, Punk, Pop, and Experimental flavors, Full Recovery's unique sound is a new blessing in the New Jersey rock scene. "We want to offer a sound no one else is used to hearing." says frontman Michael Pana.
Full Recovery was born in late April of 2002, when Michael Pana got the rock n' roll bug and was dying to play with some fresh talent. He quickly found a friend in Ray Perlas, a down-to-earth yet very talented musician whose guitar skills are second to none. Michael's younger brother Matt was picked to play drums. Ray's younger cousin, Michael Quiray, affectionately known to the band members simply as "Q", joined the band as rhythm guitarist. The band's good friend, Ryan Del Rosario, who is now no longer part of the band, was brought aboard to play bass guitar (due to his collegiate endeavors, Ryan soon had to leave a band due to the long distance involved). Soon after, the band members' childhood friend, Lauren Evangelista,, was recruited to play keyboards. After much trial and error, Lauren is now not only the bands keyboardist, but also acts as the bassist during live performances.
Do not be mistaken: there is a lot more work in store for Full Recovery. There are hundreds of shows to book. There are thousands upon thousands of people to spread their music to. But, in the end, what is the ultimate goal for this 5-piece band from Central New Jersey?
"We're gonna take over the world." says Ray Perlas.
Guess that sums it up.
