WELLNESS TUNES presents the FULL SPEED AHEAD TOUR FALL ‘08
After releasing the single GET CRAZY on INNVISON RECORDS in JUNE 2008 and another ep with RIDER SHAFIQUE and MISTER MELODY in JULY, we’re planning to celebrate the release of the FULL SPEED AHEAD EP (september), WITH A TOUR from SEPTEMBER 17 until SEPTEMBER 28 2008! This site has been set up for you, dear booker, promoter, clubowner, etc. to give you a little idea of how we do our thing when we’re live on stage.
The plan is to tour as a 5 people crew in a classic 2 TURNTABLES AND 2 MICROPHONES setup, enhanced with live effects and overdubs. The Vocalists we’re bringing are the two guys that are featured in the songs on this site, RIDER SHAFIQUE and MISTER MELODY, the 2 caribbean singers that are involved with PRESSURE DROP (UK), also known as BLACK CANVAS (AGAINST THE GRAIN REC./UK).
On the decks , DJ SOUMEZ will be responsible for dropping and blending the instrumental versions of our tunes, EL COCA will be doing LIVE EFFECTS and DUBBING as RIDER SHAFIQUE and MISTER MELODY will bless us with their tremendous live vocals. Our sessions will be a journey through a variety of styles including DUB and DUBSTEP, REGGAE, HIP HOP, FUNK, BREAKS and HOUSE. The length of our shows will be around 80 minutes.
It is possible to also book us WITHOUT any SUPPORTING ACTS or DJS since DJ SOUMEZ and EL COCA can play their own WARMUP and AFTER-SHOW-DJ-SETS. As Deejays we play the same styles we produce and play live, additional DRUM ‘N’ BASS Sessions may occur ;-).
We plan on touring with a Van, the 5th person will be driving and operates the Camera to collect footage for a tour video.
