Started in April 2004 as a fun, weekly get-together of like-minded souls, Fulton County Line (named after a bucolic county in Western Ohio) has grown into an accomplished and impressive live honky tonk act through residencies at the Horseshoe BBQ, The California Clipper, The Smoke Daddy, The Pontiac Café, and a variety of other gigs in and around Chicago. Suffice it to say, Fulton County Line has earned its position as one of the staples of classic country music in Chicago.
FCL's front man and band leader, Scott Angle, moved to Austin, TX in August of 2008. Angle may live in Texas now but he remains committed to keeping the real country music alive and well in Chicago by returning the first weekend of every month to perform with the rest of the band.
Check out the FCL schedule for upcoming shows.
