I have written these writings in my status and mood updates, but I felt they were necessary to put in a writing.
With the recent shooting, there is reaction against guns as if they are the enemy – and they are not. Criminals and the military (police or nation) only having firearms is the atrocity criminal situation that California is in and no state should have to endure.
Firearms:
2 Current Problems –
There are two problems with firearms ownership: Giving of Firearms and Removing Serial Numbers from Firearms. If a person is given a hand gun, they must register it, or it could be a felony, and removing the serial numbers could be the same felony situation.
Realities of Banning Items –
If a person wonders what completely outlawing guns would be like, look at marijuana, heroin and cocaine. And, unfortunately, the only people who will own guns after gun bans are criminals because criminals will obtain firearms no matter what law is there.
Good People Keep Other Good People Safe –
Good people with firearms keep everybody safe and if teachers were able to have a protective firearm in school (typical firearm free zones), this might not have happen. Instead, a person saw a situation where there was minimal resistance to their damage.
