"African children in Nigeria" Charity art auction and exhibition
SUPER COMPETITION Vo.1 in NYC
42 Japanese artists produce art work for African children in Nigeria, and all the proceeds from sales will be donated. A contribution in the amount of 50 dollars will go to school expenses and uniform fees, so that children can go to the elementary school for one year.

It is CD by which I took charge of the jacket illustration. It is only a tune that can be comfortably listened by the compilation of the female vocal of the cafe music. To be suitable for the theme of CD, the cover illustration did the retouch correction though it was not a new art work.

ジャケットイラストを担当しました。
カフェ系の女性ボーカルコンピで、ゆったり聴ける曲ばかりです。
カバーイラストは新作ではありませんが、CDのテーマに合うように加筆修正しました。

It was elected seven excellent art works among 232 art total works.
It is an inner seat design in model [fanfun.2 830T][fanfun.petit 831T] in the winter of 2008 the SoftBank cell-phone.

Yoshimi Ohtani was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1980.
She established a website for her hobby illustrations in 2000.
She gave birth in 2002, and concentrated on caring for her child for while.
In 2005, a great desire for creation came over her, and so she returned to her original passion, this time establishing a new style for her work using illustrator.
After that, she worked cell-phone icons and backgrounds, books, magazines, interior decorations, and so on in the professional sense.
Spring of 2008, she start asking herself "what do I want to create?"
At first, She made a new website domain name that means "fun" plus "arium" ... "Funarium", and started doing of exhibitions.

For her creations, she combined a traditional mindset (Iki) with a sense of modern Japanesque "passive demenor (Wabi)", "elegant simplicity (Sabi)", and/or a "classic taste (Kare)".

The character of her works are a hybrid of Japanimation/comics and design/artistic expression.

Creation tools used, are Adobe Illustrator CS3, Adobe Photoshop CS3, and Mac (2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.)


オオタニヨシミ
1980年東京生まれ。
2000年から趣味で描いたイラストをWebサイトで発表するようになる。
2002年に出産をし育児に専念するも、また絵が描きたくなり2005年に再開、この時にIllustratorで絵を制作する現在のスタイルになる。
再開後は、商業イラストレーターとしてケータイコンテンツ・書籍・雑誌・店舗内装デザインなどで活動。
2008年春、「自分の描きたいもの」を自分自身に問うようになり、funariumという[fun（おもしろい）]＋[arium（場所）]造語でドメインを取得し、展示などの活動をはじめる。
絵として「面白み」があることを重視しながら、日本独特の感覚である「侘び・寂び・枯れ」「粋」を現代感覚で解釈したエッセンスを利かせた作品を描く。
アニメーション・漫画などのジャパニメーション的表現と、デザイン・アート的表現のちょうど真ん中の絵柄が特徴。

使用ソフト Adobe Illustrator CS3/Adobe Photoshop CS3
使用ハード iMac (2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo)
