There is a way for guys to be a part too, due to Fun Congress's recent passing of The Dale Exception. The Dale Exception provides a male into the fun club's official girls category, providing he is approved by all 4 members of fun club, provides adequite evidence that he is fun, has seen fun club live, and gives a magnificent hug. The Dale exception has been granted in it's first case. We give you our first international member, London *******

A dance step outside the norm, a jump kick spin into a summersalt delivered powerfully through the vocal chords of pure magic. Each member of the 4 piece ensemble that is Fun Club takes their music and their fun quite serioiusly. Fun Club are musical chefs, mixing in dashes of rock and rap with just the right amount of theater, energy, emotion, and heart. They also use cinamon and eggs.
The music itself is transported through the rib cages and skulls of Orville and Jonesy, unveiling in such a way a journey that the audience absorbs through the underwirings of their skin, through their inner beating, pulsing body rhythms affecting their legs, arms, and torso, as well as the muscles of their mouths causing their lips to curl upward into a magnificent, gorgeous smile. Listening to the music created by Fun Club sets the bar high, and PP and Pudgy vocally high jump directly over, missing the safety mat, and soaring through the audience's brains sucking out their sweat, blood, and tears and pouring them into a bucket to drink from later. (Just kidding, the bucket is dumped through a basement sewage drain. Fun Club does not drink body fluids.)
To experience their live shows, is to experience what music is supposed to be about, passion, energy and fun.
Fun Club have been playing shows for OVER 3 YEARS now, and have been building a steady audience of weirdos and teenage girls all across the Chicagoland area, including the Congress Theater, Subterranean, Elbo Room, The Beat Kitchen, and some other hot spots across the U.S. including Club Plaid, CBGB's, Avalon, and Trash Bar in New York. They also hosted their own night entitled Fun Night every Tuesday at The Ashbary in suburban Willow Springs IL for a year and a half. Fun Night featured games, music, snacks, and of course fun, and played to packed houses on a previously brutally slow night for The Ashbary. Also dabbling in all things fun, Fun Club have hosted spelling bees, date auctions, bingo games, and many other fun activities.
What is it about Fun Club that makes them stand out? Too many bands take themselves way too seriously, and when performing live dont even move, or talk with the crowd at all. The purpose of putting on a show is to put on a show. So says Fun Club. They feel in their hearts that this is what they are meant to do. Believe.
