Currently living in Hackney in London, Kid Functional has been producing more and more bizarre sounds since the release of the 'freeware' ep as 'Ceb' on the independant label, yum labs (co-run with Naut - see my friends list!). Since then a small collection of limited releases have followed, 'Songs for Luna' ep and 'live in hackney cloud city' album, again with naut (also released under the 'Ceb' name). The first solo album 'Skyroom Core routines' has been doing the rounds down Brick Lane and the last few copies are selling out quite nicely thank you.
Future releases will include a double album of live work from two Bleepfest festivals, at the ICA in London and at C-base in Berlin, and possibly a new ep under the name 'precocious mouse'.
Recently I've taken up some laptop duties with L.O.Freq in their live lineup for a bit of a change in pace so there should hopefully be a few gigs along those lines coming up.
I am also looking for other independant labels to release the 'kid functional' work under, so if you are interested drop me a line.

CURRENT PROJECTS: Production of a piece of soundwork for a sound collaboration project using the concept of Renga (classical Japanese collaborative poetry) for the sound and video artist Sachiko Hayashi (www.e-garde.net).
Also starting work as an fx and laptop bod in the live lineup of L.O.Freq (check my friends list) so gigs will be coming up soon!
