the month of may is quickly approaching, which means that it's time to recruit brave men (and women) to unite in a glorious celebration of charity and facial hair. i'm speaking (of course!) of the esteemed fund-a-stache.
for those not yet enlightened, fund-a-stache is a charitable activity in which participants display, prominently and proudly, their compassion for a charitable cause in the form of hair between the nose and lip. those with the fortitude to participate are asked only to:
- sign-up with fund-a-stache sending an email to
mrmustache07@fundastache.org
- choose a charity and create a charitable donation site-
instructions will follow...
- ask friends, family, co-workers, the guy at the deli, etc... to support you and your just cause
- grow and wear a **solo** mustache
- regularly update your mustache photo / blog on the fund-a-stache website
- communicate to all around that you are proudly wearing a mustache to support the charity of your choice.
thanks to a handful of brave individuals, last year's success was remarkable! and we have no doubt that this year will see the same level of success, but we won't get there without your participation... and if you feel you can't participate, well then, please! recruit others you would like to see 'stach-i-fied.
