Fund the Mental Records was created in 2005. The label is focused upon bringing to the public a sound that while ahead of its time still remains true to its hiphop roots. Comprised of various artists who also share commonality through their affiliation with the profound South Texas HipHop Collabrative, Prhymemates, the label hosts some of the hardest working and sharpest MCs in San Antonio. Currently in the process of flooding SA's streets' with mixtapes showcasing the skills of the labels artist stable, Fund the Mental is also in the business of advancing hiphop as both a culture and an artform while establishing themselves are one of the premier independent labels in the country.
