К сожалению, Funestum прекращает свою творческую деятельность. Тем не менее, на основе этого коллектива формируется новая группа, продолжающая играть в стиле ambient funeral doom. Изначально музыкальный материал группы будет базироваться на основе переработанных композиций Funestum, но в настоящее время ведётся работа над созданием абсолютно новых песен. Группа продолжает активно репетировать и планирует подготовить новую программу к осени. Спасибо всем, кто поддерживал и был с нами всё это время, ещё увидимся ;) !
FUNESTUM is the young Kiev band. The urge for creating it was the desire of every band's member to play funeral doom. Now band's music is the symbiosis of rather new for Ukraine but well known all over the world music styles funeral doom and ambient. In songs played with mournful tempo has stopped the last minute… the minute of farewell to the world… confession before death… fanciful images of thoughts… fear of the unknown.
In Funestum music the lyric melody of viola, monumental guitar sound wall, courageous growl, atmospheric keys are combined and the surreal ambient gathers all thoughts and feelings, splices it to the clew where you can entangle oneself, lost yourself, find your inner “I”.

Наразі, музика групи - це симбіоз доволі нових для української сцени, але відомих у світі стилів: funeral doom та ambient. У похоронному темпі пісень застигла остання мить… мить прощання зі світом… передсмертна сповідь… химерні образи думок… страх перед невідомим…
У композиціях поєднується ліричний мелодизм скрипки-альт з монументальною стіною гітарного звуку, мужнім вокалом, атмосферними клавішними лініями, а сюрреалістичний ембіент збирає всі думки і почуття, сплітаючи їх у клубок, у якому можна заплутатися… загубитися… або віднайти своє внутрішнє «Я».

Our second full length album is now finish , it once again combine heavy and powerful metal music with clean vocals hailing from the roots of gothic rock.
It was mastered by Dan SWANÖ at Unisound studio ( Sweden ) .
We are looking for a label ready to help us nail down the project (CD manufacturing , promotion ,distribution).
