About funfolk

funfolk is an original folk pop rock band who mixes melodic melodies with a classic folk harmonic influence to create a sound unique yet strangely familiar. Their music sounds like the songs ordinary people would write about their lives if they had studied music theory performance and composition for years and years, then only sort of remembered it all. Matt and Phil have been together writing and performing original material through many years and varied projects. Their lyrical blend is both honest and deeply introspective.

Nicole Hankemeier	Jun 3 2008 10:42 PM Oh my goodness! Harold Geneen is how I got the G in my middle name instead of J. I'm not sure why my parents spelled it Geniene. My dad told me about that guy when I had to write a paper way back in Vinnie Hansen's creative writing class about how we got our names, but I was still completely clueless about who we actually was. Wow, he was still alive when I wrote the paper too! Thanks for listening to my stuff. My boyfriend told me I should send it to you without telling you who wrote it just to see what your reaction was.
