Funkatron was born in 1982 in Bratislava (Slovakia). Visiting clubs in his hometown and around the Slovak republic, he started to be more and more
interested in techno music and later in minimal. In 2007 he started to release his tracks on various netlabels and digital labels like WeLove:Minimal (GER), Insectorama (GER), Sweet Smelling Surfaces (FRA), Bumpfoot (JAP) or Wazzotic records (CZE), which were followed in 2008 by releases on labels like Superbia Rec.(ITA), BCR Rec(UK), Soundworks (ESP) or Miniatura Netlabel(Arg). Funkatron is a member of welove:minimal booking and also of slovak crew afera.sk. He has played in many clubs and festivals in Slovakia and Czech republic like Download_FM Open Air, Hradhouse or Bee Free and also at PLAY.FM radio from Vienna. His minimal-techno sets were played in radios like Radio_FM(SVK). Symbiostic Radio (Berlin/GER) or Radio Activa (ITA) In 2008 he started his own minimal/techno label called Seta Label and started his minimal webcast show on dancemusic portal housemusic.sk ...
