FUNKMA$TER is a multi-instrumentalist. With drums, bass, keyboards, guitar, vocals, and a looping device called an Electrix Repeater, he is able to create layers of sound that will make you think you're listening to an entire band. Embracing new technology while shying away from drum machines and pre-recorded samples, he is truly a One-Man-Band in the most modern, yet organic sense of the term.

His live performances consist of original music, an endless supply of Reggae/Hip-Hop/Funk/R'n'B cover tunes, and folkloric afro-cuban rhythms and chants.

Aside from his solo shows, he spends most of his time playing percussion and singing with THE EUFÓRQUESTRA (www.euforquestra.com). He can also be seen performing with PUBLIC PROPERTY (www.publicprop.com), The KYLE HOLLINGSWORTH BAND, the MOTET(www.themotet.net), DubSkin(www.dubskinmusic.com), THE AFRO-LATIN PROJECT (www.artes-latinas.com), or singing with Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band LUNATIX ON POGOSTIX.

Having a deeply rooted passion for recording, FUNKMA$TER (referred to by some as "the One Take Wonder") is always looking for opportunities to spend time in the studio. In 2009, he recorded with EUFÓRQUESTRA, DubSkin, PUBLIC PROPERTY (with guest appearances by TOOTS HIBBERT from TOOTS and the MAYTALS, ELLIOT MARTIN from JOHN BROWN'S BODY, and VICTOR AXELROD aka "TICKLAH" of ANTIBALAS AFROBEAT ORCHESTRA and EASY STAR ALL-STARS fame), THE PASSAGE PROJECT, and KATHARINE RUESTOW.
