Diggin' deep in the vaults of European jazz and upfront beats from around the globe Rainer Trueby has emerged as one of the leading DJs worldwide. Trüby is compiling the renowned "Gluecklich" compilation series for Compost Records, has been part of the legendary A Forest Mighty Black project and records with Roland Appel and Christian Prommer of Fauna Flash fame as Trueby Trio. The trio has currently been honoured to contribute their mix to K7's "DJ Kicks" series. They also haven been active as remixers for Nitin Sawhney, Bebel Gilberto, Frederic Galliano or Yasushi Ide. When Rainer Trueby is not travelling the world you will find him behind turntables of his own "Root Down" session night in Waldsee near his hometown Freiburg
