The tracks we've uploaded here are straight scratch traxx except for "knock it off" which made it to full production. But we feel it's a nice variety of what is in my head and will certainly be used as a sketch pad to build from when all the pieces of "The Funk OverLords" are in place.
Guitarist Mike Favero aka Mikey "V", 20+ year veteran player. Born & Raised in California and has performed and done session work from the SF Bay Area, the entire
metropolis of LA. & across the country. When he wants to 'get away' he heads to the family home in Montana. As a young player, Mike was chosen to audition with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, his band mates have
included: Ron Johnson (Karl Densens tiny universe) Booty Call (formerly Statue Man), TRIM with Keven Guercio (No Mercy and the Suicidal Crew), Louichi Mayorga (original member
Suicidal Tendencies), and with Sly's permission did session guitar work on the remake of "Thankyou (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)".
Experienced on stage, in the studio, backline, front of house and promotion including graphic design and Pro Tools, Mike has a broad
knowledge all about making music. Mike holds close to his heart family and his Italian heritage, he honors his grandfathers by carrying both of
thier names. Performing arts permeate Mike's family, sister Gina is a professional dancer and dad Christian a professional musician. Travel
and change are natural grooves for Mike. 2009 will take him back to his roots. There he will explore The Funk OverLords & new projects as well.
Many players such as Hendrix, Al McKay (earth,wind & fire), Hillel Slovak (chili peppers) & Helmets page hamilton have inspired & influenced Mike. But when he's in the pocket & InyoFace it's a roar & groove like only he can deliver...
