Influences
Influences, huh? Well, basically we like anything that gets bodies shakin' and movin'. Specifically, the area from waist to thigh. That's the funk zone you know. Anyway, this will give you an idea what the band's like. Enjoy.
Well, there's really no comparison. I mean, we play funk and r&b, you know? So we kinda sound like some of the great funk bands that work in the genre. But there's a little something different that's hard to describe. It's kinda like slipping on a pair of silver pants. They're just pants, but they're silver, dig? I mean, that's just something you just really can't prepare for you know?
Okay, the self-proclaimed greatest funk band ever. That’s still pretty good. Funk Trunk is the driving force behind some of the greatest musical moments of the funk renaissance. Their most prolific periods have spawned gems like “Gonna Wet Yo’ Pants”, “I Stole Your Sugar” and “Chunky Stiletto.” Songs that are slowly transforming an unsuspecting nation into a legion of Funk Trunk fanatics. Funk Trunk is dedicated to filling the long neglected, gaping hole in the undercarriage of the funk establishment.
Funk is about to undergo an awakening, and Funk Trunk is responsible for the wake-up call. Brace yourself...the funk bomb is on the verge of detonation.
