Funkweed : A hardy perennial of the psychedelic gumbo variety. Flowers infrequently, at night. The branches are easily trimmed but the root, once established, is almost impossible to eradicate from The Garden. Funkweed may lie dormant for moments or years at a time, before reappearing in an profusion of muticoloured sprouting tendrils smack in the middle of The Lawn. Please note that The Funkweed Organisation and its Extensive Grounds is a rehearsal-free zone. Information concerning when to flower, when to shrivel back etc is stored in the root, to which branches may have limited access.
